Ambrosial Flesh
As a boy educated in Catholic school, Jonathan believed in the teachings of the Church. When his non-believing parents prevented him from attending Sunday Mass, Jonathan found his own way of celebrating the Lord's Day. Since the Church's dogma teaches that we are made in the "image and likeness of God," Jonathan decided to eat his own scabs in place of the Body and Blood of Christ at Communion.

Now Jonathan is an adult, and his fetishism with Communion becomes more macabre even as his religious beliefs fade. Jonathan enjoys eating other people's flesh. There are those willing to participate in his warped game. After he marries he must go back to eating his own flesh in order to stay faithful to his wife. When his wife learns of his bizarre behavior she is horrified, forcing him to destroy her--the one person he loves. This act takes him on a spiraling decline that brings him face-to-face with Lucifer. Now Jonathan must choose between his horrendous destiny or fight against the evil trying to possess him.

Death's Embrace
Many times Iíve been asked about how I come up with ideas for my short stories and novels. There are many inspirations, from night time dreams to daydreams. Remembrances of childhood experiences are the best ways for me to take myself into a fantasy world of terror, silliness, pain, and joy. As children, our perceptions are far removed from the adult mundane world where everything has but one use or meaning.
In this collection of short stories Iíve touched on many of my fantasies and memories both from childhood and from maturity. Sometimes as I get older I feel that I am regaining some of the blessed imagination that we lose when our lives become full of household chores, making money, and meeting the demands of friends and loved ones. Or maybe Iím truly going bonkers!
I hope you truly enjoy the weird, the impossible, the fantasy, and the madness contained in each tale. This is not a book meant for those who find it impossible to let go of reality for a short time. It is for those who still believe in losing themselves with the fairies, goblins, witches, and the other secrets that dwell in the back of our minds. Give yourselves over to the thrills and scary, dark shadows inside the bedrooms of our minds.
A collection of the weird, the impossible, the childhood terrors almost forgotten, and the misfits that live in spooky dark nights when we find ourselves alone.
Fifteen stories meant for those who can still believe the impossible.

The Witch
Deep in the basement a wooden box sits on a table. Demons that were called into the world are etched on the box. With tiny claws they writhe, push, and scratch at the wood, attempting to gain freedom. The forked tongues flick the air, bulbous noses scent, swollen cheeks pulse. Their icy determined voices vibrate the atmosphere with inaudible high-pitched screeches calling for revenge. Five-year old Stephen's mother, Cathy, is dead. Her body was cremated, her ashes cast into the ocean. Yet her spirit hovers over Stephen. It urges him to go down to the basement. For Stephen is meant to be the demons' instrument. His innocence will be their mask, his love their weapon. Because Stephen's father ended his affair with the babysitter too late. And Stephen's oppressive, demanding grandmother must pay for the pain she selfishly forced on her daughter. With blue eyes and cherub smile, Stephen will set out to punish Mommy's persecutors.
